Acceptance of Terms

Using Sirch means you accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the app.

You must be 13 or older. Users under 18 need parental or guardian consent.

Your License to Use Sirch

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install Sirch on your personal devices.
• Use Sirch to build, save, and launch search queries.
• Keep a local history of your searches.

You may NOT:

• Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the app.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Copy, modify, or create derivative works.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or branding.
• Attempt to bypass the purchase flow or the free tier's daily launch limit.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to violate the terms of service of any search engine or platform you query through it.

Acceptable Use

Sirch is a productivity tool for research and information retrieval. You are responsible for the queries you construct and for how you use the results. When you launch a query, you are interacting directly with a third-party search engine — their terms of service and acceptable-use policies apply to that interaction.

Your Content and Feedback

Your queries, history, and saved items belong to you. They are stored on your device, and you can delete them anytime by uninstalling the app.

By using Sirch, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to operate the app. This license ends when you delete your data.

If you share feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Sirch without compensation. This helps us build a better app for everyone.

Intellectual Property

Sirch, including its name, logo, design, and code, is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not use the Sirch name or branding without written permission.

Premium Features

One-Time Purchase

Sirch offers a one-time premium purchase through the App Store or Google Play that removes the free tier's daily launch limit indefinitely.

Billing

• Apple or Google charges your account when you confirm the purchase.
• There are no recurring subscriptions or hidden fees.

Refunds

Apple and Google manage refunds according to their policies. Request refunds through Apple Support or your Google Play account.

Data and Privacy

Your search history and saved queries belong to you. They live on your device. We cannot access them.

Delete your data anytime by uninstalling the app. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Third-Party Search Results

SIRCH DOES NOT PROVIDE, CONTROL, OR ENDORSE SEARCH RESULTS.

• Search results come entirely from third-party engines you choose to query. We are not responsible for their accuracy, legality, or content.
• Sirch is a query-building tool. It is not professional, legal, or investigative advice, and it does not guarantee any particular outcome from your research.
• Engine availability and operator support can change at any time, as engines evolve their own products.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIRCH IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The app will function uninterrupted or error-free.
• Defects will be corrected in any particular timeframe.
• The app is free of viruses or harmful components.
• Queries built with the app will produce specific results or outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

• Loss of Data: loss or corruption of your history or saved queries.
• Costs of Substitute Services: finding alternative apps or services.
• Any Other Intangible Losses.

Maximum Liability: In any case, our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or EUR 50 if you have not paid anything).

Jurisdictional Variations: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, an EU member state. Romanian law aligns with EU regulations, including GDPR for data protection.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern:

1. Contact us first. We will work with you in good faith to resolve issues informally.
2. EU residents can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
3. Legal proceedings must be brought in Romanian courts.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy form the complete agreement between you and the developer. They replace any prior understandings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when we add features or when laws change. We will:

• Post the revised Terms in the app and on this page.
• Update the date shown at the top.

Review these Terms periodically. Continued use of Sirch after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
